The stately 50-kilogramm table-clock with its gold-plated 100-day movement rests majestically atop four brass pillars. Its motive force is provided by a spring barrel and a fusee. The gear train of this clock is composed of a few, meticulously crafted gears and pinions. They transfer the motive force with high efficiency to the escapement and motion-work. The escapement features Matthias Naeschke's exclusive "drops" escapement with ruby pallet jewels. It is completed by a five-rod gridiron pendulum with fine-adjustment mechanism. The numbers and letterings were manually chased into the dial ring by a master engraver making every dial a one-of-a-kind piece. A glass case with faceted panes protects the clock against dust.
