The "Mille Miglia" runs 1,000 miles through gorgeous Italian landscapes from Brescia to Rome and back. As an enthusiastic fan of classic motorcars, Karl-Friedrich Scheufele has been an active participant in this traditional rally since 1988. Luxury watches and beautiful antique cars are closely affiliated with one another in the mind of Chopard’s co-president. This liaison inspired the creation of the "Mille Miglia" collection, line of sporty watches with self-winding movements that has developed into one of Chopard’s most successful collections.
