Let yourself be fascinated by the new BY KIM necklace and the story of its origins. Inspired by the trend to natural colours the yellowgreen beryl - also called heliodor - won over our hearts. Did you know that in ancient times beryl was cut into glasses? This is where the German word for glasses “Brille” derives from. Furthermore, as legend has it Emperor Nero even watched the gladiator tournaments through an emerald - truly imperial opera glasses. Today beryl is used for adornment, as is this gem of 19.98 carats: carefully facetted off it has developed its utmost brilliance and contrasted with the dark brown cairngorm necklace it is especially striking. Adding the shell cameo of the highest quality makes this contemporary trio complete. Combined with the warm hue of 18 carat rose gold and surrounded by white brilliant-cut diamonds its fascination becomes perfect. Our love of detail manifests itself for example in the thoughtfully decorated reverse of the cameo pendant – removable yet freely hung.
