Tradition and innovation for more than 170 years: as the inheritors of a long tradition of fine watchmaking, the brothers Louis Victor and Pierre Joseph Célestin Baume founded the "BAUME Frères" watch manufacture in the Swiss town of Les Bois in 1830. Numerous prizes awarded at world expositions in subsequent years, soon added still more gleam to the enterprise’s international reputation. The Baume Brothers’ motto "accept only absolute perfection and the highest quality" still serves today as the measure of all things for this brand.
